Talk to the screen
Do you want to have something BIG in your mentalism show?
TALK TO THE SCREEN
Talk To The Screen is a seven-minute stage routine in which you interact with a prerecorded version of yourself on screen, and then bring a spectator into the conversation.
To the audience, it looks as if the person on the screen is responding in real time.
The routine combines mentalism, comedy, audience interaction, and a strong revelation or prediction. Some of the presentation details are intentionally not described here, as they are part of what makes the routine deceptive.
PRACTICAL CONDITIONS
No gimmicks.
No special props.
No app.
You can use almost any screen or projector supplied by the venue.
Once you understand the system, preparing a new version of the video can take around 10 minutes.
WHERE IT WORKS
The routine can be adapted for:
- Corporate events
- Theatre shows
- Comedy mentalism
- Infotainment and edutainment
- Personalized presentations
- Conferences
- Shows where you need to include a company message, product, person, or theme
One of the main advantages of Talk To The Screen is that the content can be changed without changing the basic structure of the routine.
This makes it especially useful for performers who regularly customize their shows for different clients.
WHAT YOU RECEIVE
You receive access to a Google Drive containing:
- Full explanations
- Examples of the routine in different types of shows
- Corporate performances
- Theatre performances
- Smaller shows
- Different presentations and variations
You also receive access to the private Talk To The Screen Facebook group, where performers share ideas, versions, and applications of the routine.
MORE THAN A METHOD
The main value of Talk To The Screen is not simply the technical idea.
It is the structure, timing, scripting, interaction, and the way the prerecorded video is used to create the impression of a real conversation.
I have been developing and performing this type of customized corporate material for many years, and the workshop explains how to adapt the routine to your own style and your own clients.
Talk To The Screen gives you a substantial stage piece that looks very different from a standard mentalism routine, while remaining practical to transport and perform.

For professional mentalists and magicians who want practical material for stage, corporate events, trade shows, and MC work.
The Big Workshop includes recordings from two different workshops: Manhattan, June 2023, and Los Angeles, June 2024.
Each workshop was approximately three hours. You receive both recordings, so you can see the same material in front of different audiences, with different reactions, questions, and discussions.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
40-Minute Live Performance
Watch the material performed before the explanations begin. The Manhattan workshop included an audience of professional performers such as Asi Wind, Dan White, Bob Backer, Jon Allen, Seth Kramer, and Eric DeCamps.
More Than 2½ Hours of Explanations
I explain the methods, structure, timing, presentation, and thinking behind material that I have used professionally for many years.
The routines include:
The Blindfold Routine
My complete blindfold system and routine, designed for stage and corporate audiences. Also included is an additional 30-minute performance of the Blindfold routine for an audience of approximately 400 people.
Big Confabulation
My current approach to Confabulation, including the structure and presentation I use in professional shows.
Juggling Add-A-Number
A practical Add-A-Number routine built around audience participation and a different presentation for a familiar principle.
Three-Phase Celebrities
A multi-phase routine using celebrities, designed to build progressively and work with a large audience.
Invisible Touches and PK Touches
My work on Invisible Touches, which I originally developed in the 1980s, together with ideas and handling for PK Touches.
The Selfie Card Trick
The updated version of my audience-participation card routine.
The Big Trivia Game
An interactive trivia routine involving the entire audience, with a strong final revelation. The routine was developed specifically for corporate events and can also be customized with company information and messages.
CORPORATE MAGIC MASTERCLASS
Also included is approximately three hours devoted specifically to the business and performance side of corporate magic and mentalism.
This section covers:
- How to personalize an effect so it communicates a client's message.
- How to create routines specifically for corporate audiences.
- Trade-show performance and crowd gathering.
- Ideas developed from many years of working at international trade shows.
- How to work as a Master of Ceremonies at conferences using short pieces of magic and mentalism between presentations.
- How to integrate company products, terminology, executives, and messages into an effect.
- Special printed effects and giveaways that spectators can take home.
- Using QR codes and other simple tools to continue the interaction after the performance.
- Examples and clips from actual corporate performances.
The emphasis throughout the workshop is on material that can actually be performed for paying audiences.
This is not a collection of theoretical ideas. These are routines, presentations, and techniques developed through professional performances at corporate events, conferences, trade shows, and stage shows.
WHAT OTHER PROFESSIONALS SAY
Marc Paul
“Lior is a master of his craft. The routines he teaches are polished and honed from decades of performance in the real world for paying audiences. They are powerful, practical and direct. Guaranteed to connect with any audience. His blindfold routine alone is worth ten times the cost of the workshop. If you are looking for rock solid, impactful mentalism, this is a ‘must attend’ event.”
